MADISON, Wis. (July 13, 2011) – Packer legend and soon-to-be Packer Hall-of-Famer William Henderson is sharing his favorite Wisconsin vacation memories on the TravelWisconsin.com blog as part of the Wisconsin Department of Tourism’s "Picture the Fun" guest bloggers series. The Department of Tourism has invited Wisconsin celebrities and hometown favorites to share their stories and photographs of fun Wisconsin vacations. Henderson is the latest notable blogger to share his fun Wisconsin vacation stories.

In the blog, Henderson recalls a memorable boat ride he took on the Mississippi River along the Great River Road for the charity he supports, the Gilbert Brown Foundation. He also writes about his excitement in being inducted into the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame on July 22.

Notable Wisconsin figures that have already blogged for the website include: Gilbert Brown, former Green Bay Packer who loves Summerfest and the Warrens Cranberry Festival; Jason Wilde, writer for ESPNMilwaukee.com and ESPNMadison.com, who still remembers a family trip to Minocqua when he was five years old; Kyle Cherek, food critic, who shares his secret love for Door County; and Justin Williams from Fox 6 in Milwaukee who finds his fun in the food options at the Milwaukee Public Market.

"These guest bloggers share one thing in common – they all love Wisconsin. We’re delighted that they’re willing to share their unique stories of fun in Wisconsin with our visitors," said Secretary of Tourism, Stephanie Klett.
